Paris Dreaming

Ever since I visited the magically land of Paris last year, I haven't stopped dreaming about going back. Everything is better in Paris.. the fashion, the style, the food, the culture and even the people. I don't know where the notion of the French being rude came from because everyone I met were lovely (except for this one lady working in a restaurant who hated life. But hey, everyone can have a bad day). 

With only 2 days in Paris and countless things to see, my friends and I tried to cram as much in as possible. Next time I think I need an extended stay there to really take in the culture. On my first day back I can imagine slipping into a nice dress, putting a smear of red lipstick on and hopping into fab heels to teeter across the cobblestone pathways to have macarons for afternoon tea at a cafe on the Champs Elysees.. tres bien!

Crushing on Jessica Gomes

So Aussie model Jessica Gomes has been on my radar for some time and I've developed a big girl crush. Her exotic heritage of Portugese, Singapore and Chinese decent, teamed with her crazy insane bod sets her apart from the rest. And I'm not the only one who has taken notice.. Sports Illustrated will shoot Jess in their coveted annual Swimsuit Edition for the 5th year running! This means she broke the one and only Elle Macpherson's previous record. And just today Maxim Magazine named her Australia's sexiest model!

Watch out peoples, this Perth beauty is set for mega-stardom very soon.

I love Lucas

So lately I've been thinking about all the things I can't live without.. Some things are important (like oxygen, obviously) but others are less significant yet I can't seem to go a day without it. 

One such thing is my Lucas' Papaw Ointment. This has been a handbag staple for years and years and I use it obsessively on my lips every day. For such an affordable item it has so many other good uses as well. I use it for cuts, burns, bites, rashes and even on my hands when they get horribly dry and cracked during the winter time. I'm such a fan of those old natural remedies that have been around for years and years. I love the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' philosophy and Lucas's century old formula sure ain't broke. Luscious lips are the perfect frame for a friendly smile or sexy pout and Lucas never lets me down. I'm still hoping that if I use it enough my lips will one day look like Rosie's... fingers crossed!

A Night with Roger... and Peach

Last night I attended the opening of Roger + Peach's brand new store in Newtown. 

Located in Alice Street, this gorgeous little store has the most beautiful product displays and merchandising. The decorative use of twigs, grass, rope and wooden dressers perfectly complimented the fun, girly style of clothing, jewellery and accessories. I especially loved the artworks featured throughout the store. Pretty watercolours and quirky prints make for the perfect Christmas gift! Or why not purchase in a lace top, delicate pendant necklace, basic maxi or striking peach blazer for your friends? Or better still, maybe just purchase them for yourself as a special treat from Santa..

Victoria's (Not So) Secret Fashion Show

It's that time of year again... the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011! 

I can barely contain my excitement. This annual extravaganza is something I look forward to each and every year. What other catwalk show brings together all of the worlds most amazing models, the hottest musicians, best costume designers and events co-ordinators and have the whole spectacle watched by the coolest crowd?! The front row is a who's who of Hollywood royalty. 

(It's even a way to meet your future prince charming, as it's rumoured that's where Orlando first laid eyes on the beautiful Miranda *sigh*. And well, the rest is history as they say).

I was so excited to hear that Miranda will be wearing the coveted diamond encrusted 'Fantasy Bra' this year. Priced at $2.5 million and requiring approximately 3400 gems and 500 hours of hand-stitching to create, this is a wonderful honour for Miranda in her comeback walk on the glittery Victoria's Secret runway. You wouldn't have guessed she had last year off to have her baby boy Flynn. This hot mumma is looking better then ever (as if we thought that was even possible) and I have no doubt her appearance at tonight's show will be a stand out.

Holy moly Lara Bingle looks smoking in the latest Who's Sexiest People edition!

I for one am loving the new look Lara. (Her hairstyle even inspired me to get the big chop). I've been a fan since way back when she was a fresh faced teen gracing the pages of Girlfriend (yeah I was cool back in the day). We've all watched her style change and evolve over time and she is now regarded as a major trend-setter and one of Sydney's most stylish. Having the amazing Christine Centenera as a close friend and stylist would definitely help.. those two make an unstoppable fashion force! Love your work Lara.
