Such a lovely afternoon to sit around doing a whole lot of nothing. Big breaky with friends set up the day perfectly and a nice catchup with my brother afterwards was great. It's a shame grocery shopping has to be a buzz kill for my relaxing day, but I'm savouring the chill out time while it lasts. 

As I write this post, my boy is making characters on GTA5 do yoga. (I swear that game constantly surprises me!) I can't help but feel inspired to do some yoga myself later today..

Dinner

So it turns out I CAN actually cook.. shock horror. 

After 25 years of having little to no cooking ability, I can finally put a meal together that's not only edible but sometimes even tasty. I'm so dam chuffed with myself it's ridiculous! 

Now to get the cooking creativity flowing so I can work on my new found skill. Sometimes a little confidence is all you need to get things happening. Thank god for the various blogs I stalk because they always feature some amazing looking snacks and treats that I'm dying to try out..
