Away

This post was originally meant for Sunday, but as usual the week got away from me.

It's the second last day of Summer and I for one am not complaining. Don't get me wrong, I looooove the beautiful weather and beachy lifestyle we're lucky to enjoy, but Autumn/Winter is by far my favourite season for fashion. 

So farewell Summer, be good while you're away... Autumn has it covered for now.

Wanderlust

Once you acquire the travel bug, it never really leaves you. 

I seriously think about exotic destinations and amazing holiday ideas every single day. With a few continents left to tick off the bucket list and countless countries to visit, I need to make an effort to holiday more often.

First stop is Fiji in a couple of months for a friend's hens weekend. I've never been so I'm really excited to unwind there, as well as meet the locals who I've heard are absolutely lovely.

Who knows what the holiday after that will be, but anywhere in the world will do..

Ahh it's good to be back.

I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's Day (or Single's Awareness Day), whichever way you celebrate or commiserate it. My boy was so thoughtful and surprised me with flowers even though I didn't expect anything. And I'm SUCH a girl when it comes to things like flowers. Even if I got them every single day, I'd never get sick of it. 

I think I should start gifting myself with flowers occasionally.. because there's nothing like a beautiful bunch of your favourite flowers to brighten your day :)
